This best seller can still be used with students even with schools closed! Simply have students draw their letters on paper, I suggest using a thick marker. You can then share the Google Slides template with students so they can upload their own pictures! You could also have students take the pictures and email them to you so that you can upload them to the template (that would certainly be easiest for younger students). With all of the craziness happening in the world, this can still be a thoughtful and heartwarming gift that moms will LOVE!
ALERT: This activity has been named an ALL TIME FAVORITE among parents! They are blown away when they see the beautiful pictures of their children for Mother's Day and Father's Day. If you are looking for an adorable activity for students to complete for the special people in their lives, this is definitely for you!
This product has both digital and printable options and is entirely EDITABLE! It contains student examples for both the digital and print options, directions on how to complete each option, and the following editable templates.
Included in the templates are...
Love you Mom
Love you Stepmom
Love you Dad
Love you Stepdad
Love you Grandma
Love you Grandpa
Blank (Black and White and all colored versions) ** 16 options total
Students essentially take 4 pictures of themselves holding the letters to spell LOVE (included) and then use those photos to make a beautiful picture either digitally by uploading the photos or by simply gluing the pictures on the template provided (print small photos to fit). For Father's Day students use the letters DAD with a picture of a hammer (provided in the file). You can customize this by by creating your own letters for students to hold in the picture spelling different things! This project is so adorable and will leave the parents of your students breathless.
