Here is an original poem (written by me) , a card and a wire bead sculpture easily crafted by a kindergarten student with your help in hot gun gluing the sculpture to a base or stand. The wire gauge should be strong enough to support the beads and its shape and flexible enough for students to bend and manipulate. I got my wire from the Dollar Store and found that I had enough for 40 students and more to spare. My students loved the beading and had a large variety to choose from. At the bottom of each base I wrote “Mother’s Day 2013” and the child’s name using permanent marker. My students loved this activity and I am sure yours will too! I have added some photos of the sculptures made this year.
