Product Description

This download is a simple craft activity to make a one-page organizer for the perplexing question: how do you tell the difference between a butterfly and a moth? It can be a student craft or a bulletin-board display for a classroom or science center.

To assemble, print images and then carefully cut out the butterfly and moth figures, cutting along indicated lines to free wings. With a glue stick or long-reach stapler, attach each body to the indicated place on the Lepidoptera fact sheet. Students can then lift the wings to find the facts.
