This activity includes two motion graph practice handouts. Both sheets include a story about a trip to and from school. Students are required to read the stories and then graph the motion described.
After students complete the graphs, they will use them to answer questions related to speed and velocity.
This product is in the form of a powerpoint, but slides can be printed as handouts. The powerpoint includes answer key slides for each handout. The answer key slides include animations that walk students through how to complete the graphs.
You can use this product as a mini-lesson on motion graphs, as practice, as homework, or as an assessment after a lesson on graphing motion. It can be used whole-group, or as an individual assignment.
