Product Description
The purpose of the Motion Graph is to help students understand an object's motion on a position versus time and velocity versus time graph. In the position vs. time activity, there are three graphs for students to describe the position and speed of the object. Students are asked to identify the axis, describe the movement of the object, and explain whether the speed was constant or changing. In the velocity vs. time activity, there are two graphs clearly labeled to help students understand the meaning of velocity and acceleration. Students are asked to solve for acceleration, connect the meaning of velocity and acceleration, and explain whether the graph is linear or non-linear. This file includes a detailed 4 page answer key that clearly explains the answer to each question.
