Description

Study the history behind Mount Rushmore while learning about the four great presidents it memorializes. This unit is great for teaching students about Mount Rushmore, and makes a great Presidents' Day activity. The unit includes information on President George Washington, President Thomas Jefferson, President Theodore Roosevelt, and President Abraham Lincoln. Once students have learned about all four presidents, and the reason for their inclusion in Mount Rushmore National Park, they can create their own fun diorama pop up book.
