This 18-page activity comes with 16 cards with one-step, 16 cards with two-step, and 16 cards with three-step directions (total of 46 cards). The directions are printed on cards with mice on them. The activity also comes with a large cheese wedge for each type (1-step, 2-step, 3-step) that you can attach to a file folder. And small cheese wedges that can be attached to a small box (I used an empty cube shaped tissue box). There are two variations of play: 1. Place the cards in the folder or box. Have students draw out a card and complete the direction (they can read it or have an adult read it to them). If they are correct, they keep the card. The player with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner. 2. Give students a predetermined number of cards. As they complete directions correctly, place the cards in the box or folder so the mouse can eat the cheese. If incorrect, students can try again on their next turn. The player that is first to get rid of their cards is the winner.
