Mouse Paint Pack includes:
Word Cards – Color coordinating words cards, + and = to make color sentences for mixing colors. Color labels (purple mouse, blue mouse, grey cat) and coordinating color mice and cat are included. Color words include: red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, pink, black, brown, white, grey
I Have, Who Has…? Color Game (11 cards) – Deal cards to all players in small or large group. The first player chooses any card and reads it. For example “I have RED, Who has BLUE”. The caller discards his card in a pile (discard basket), other students look at their cards and determine who has BLUE. It is now that students turn to be the caller. And the game continues until all cards are discarded. This activity works well at transition times, each student receives one card, and when their color is called, they may line up or go to another activity.
Counting Mice Clothespin Game (1-20)– Students count mice on each card and place a clothespin over the correct number. Practices counting and numeral recognition, object and symbol relationship.
Tips: Print all pages on cardstock and laminate. Cut into separate cards to be used according to game/activity. This pack compliments Mouse Paint by Ellen Stoll Walsh.
