Welcome to my newest product: “Move It Mathematics”-math hunts with a twist!
These games are also sometimes called Scoot and can also be used as task cards! They are super engaging, help students review math topics, and they are FUN! Place the cards around the room and give your students a recording sheet (they will especially love it if you let them use fancy clipboards!) Students will hunt around the room for math problems and write the answer in the corresponding box on the recording sheet. Every few problems students will find a “Move It” card instead of a math problem-a little brain break and a way to make this game even more kinesthetic! The students will check the box on their recording sheet to prove that they did the exercise.
Unit 1 includes 4 Move It Mathematics games.
Topics covered are:
counting to 10
number words to 10
comparing numbers to 0
and number patterns to 10.
These are perfect for end of year kindergarten and beginning of year first grade. They are simple and make a good introduction to Move It Mathematics games! I like to use these as a math center and change the games weekly-this means you get 4 weeks worth of games! I know your students will love these!
Enjoy and please leave feedback!
