Doesn't it seem like everyone could use a little brain break or a brain boost during the long days of December? I found a quick way to provide a fun wiggle break that gets my students up and moving for just a few minutes!
I saved this PowerPoint resource to my desktop, so it's ready when I am, and I use it throughout the weeks before Christmas break. When I need a quick transition, I project one of the slides and read the story. As I read, my students enjoy some pretending and role playing -- and they definitely make a little "purposeful noise!" Plus, they're learning about characters, settings, and plots as we enjoy some warm-hearted little Christmas stories! I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
Please note -- This lesson is formatted as a PowerPoint presentation that has been secured as a PDF. This means it will scroll rather than "click" as you move through the slides. :)
