Here are over 70 video clips to teach the different states of emotions - down feelings (sick, tired, sad), calm feelings (happy, content, ready to learn), heightened feelings (stressed, frustrated, excited, silly, nervous), and extremely heightened feelings (anger, rage, terror, explosive behavior). All clips are already broken up into the corresponding states. Many of the clips are from recent movies (to help with student buy-in and entertain while teaching). The clips are all only a few minutes long so they don’t take up too much time and can be fit into a short time period.
I personally found and watched all of these clips on Youtube. Therefore, I know they are all safe (no swearing) and correspond well to each emotional area (down feelings, calm feelings, heightened feelings, and extremely heightened feelings). Each video has a hyperlink attached to it so you can just click and get to the site (the full link is also listed so you could also copy the link and past it into the address bar on the browser if that is easier for you).
I like to use these to not only teach the different emotional areas, but also to use during daily/weekly social skills lessons to continue to reinforce the concepts. Many of the video clips that I found are from videos my students have already seen (Frozen, Despicable Me, Shrek, etc.) so they are semi familiar with them and find watching them entertaining and fun.
