In the movie RESIDENTE, the famous Puerto Rican lead singer from the band Calle 13, named Residente, investigates his ancestry by traveling to the extreme corners of the world to investigate the culture and music of the various ethnicities that are found in his DNA Test. In the movie Residente connects the past with the present, investigates cultural differences and conflicts between people, and unifies the differences between people through his art by producing music that draws from the various ethnic roots of Residente.
