This set of questions corresponds to the video American History: From the Great War to the Great Depression (56 min.). It is available on Discovery Streaming and in DVD/ VHS forms. The questions go in the same order of the movie, and are focused on helping students learn about the 1920's. While the movie is not the newest or fanciest out there, it spends a great deal of time explaining Prohibition, including a tour through a speakeasy and a discussion of the effects of Prohibition on organized crime. I used this activity with 7th graders. Many found it challenging, so it could easily be used for high school.
