This lab is designed to go with the PhET Moving Man simulation. The simulation allows students to manipulate the motion of a man by changing his position, velocity, and acceleration. The students can then re-play the episode and look at computer generated graphs of the man's motion. The lab walks students through 5 situations and then asks students to examine the graphs. Students are asked specific questions that match the man's motion to the graph. The simulation can be run for free from the PhET website and runs on Java - it does not work on ipads.
