Description

I don't know about you, but "distance learning" is throwing me through some loops. I am having to teach in a new way, create different activities, and it's just plain weird. It has allowed for some fun activities-- like this Meet Mozart Google Slides activity I used with 3, 4, and 5 grade that involves a virtual field trip, youtube videos to tell about Mozart's life, and opportunities for students to show what they know.

This product is a Google Slides activity. Part of it is informational, and part of it asks the students questions about Mozart. It includes slides about his life, his work, a slide with a link to a bio of Mozart on youtube, and more. It also includes slides where students are responding to prompts. Two slides have links to Youtube videos with his pieces. Students listen and then type what they thought or what it reminded them of. There is a drag and drop true and false activity (with an answer key!), and even a KWL chart for students to fill out.

The format is intended for students to fill out on their own, but could easily be done as a whole group activity by having students answer questions out loud or on a piece of paper instead of on the presentation. If you do have them do it on their own, make sure you give each student their own copy and leave it in EDIT mode!
