I've created visuals (pictures / PECs cards) and application/extension questions for Dr. Seuss's book "Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?"
Perfect for Speech Therapy, PECs users, Pre-K, Preschool, Autism Students, Developmentally Delayed, ABA learners, Non-Verbal Students, Speech Language Therapy (Verbal Output), Receptive Language Comprehension, Teaches Sounds for animals and objects, Good for individual learning, teacher-student learning, or small group (such as circle time).
I use these cards and questions with my 4 year old developmentally delayed child to promote learning of sounds for speech production and matching appropriate sounds to its respective animal/item/verb.
I suggest printing images and laminating (if possible). Add pieces of velcro to backs of images and cut images apart. Picture cards are provided for all animals/items/verbs discussed in the book. Students can match the right card to the appropriate page.
Extension questions and cards have also been added (see preview for one). There are 6 extension questions that can be used to test understanding of sounds and who/what produces them.
The 11 page download includes directions with photos, picture cards, extension questions, and a grid where laminated picture cards can be kept with velcro.
My kids (both my 4 year old with developmental delays and my typically developing three year old) really enjoy this activity.
I hope you will choose to download it and if you like it, please follow me on Teachers Pay Teachers and share the link with your friends. I am new to this site, but I am a former teacher and now a mom and I think I have some great items to share (but I need some time to get them up and on the site!).
Thank you so much,
