PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Mr. Ferris and His Wheel is a book by Kathryn Gibbs Davis that describes the building of the first Ferris Wheel for the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago. Using the book for inspiration, your students will design and write about their own modern "World's Fair" attraction. They will think about inspiration and tell about the effect that their attraction will have on those experiencing it.

This book and activity will go perfectly with my math review scavenger hunt based onThe First Ferris Wheel that has additional facts and math questions related to the Ferris Wheel.
