I love to use this during Read Across America Week and Dr. Seuss' birthday. To get inspiration for crazy writing, read '& to Think I saw it on Mulberry Street'. Discuss ideas to write about and then have students come up with their own. In the blank spaces, I write our school name. It makes it even more relatable and fun for the students. I laminate all of the students' pages and the cover page and create a book for the kids to look back at each year. The students have so much fun being creative and then sharing their silly ideas as to what they saw on their school street! :) Enjoy!
