This interactive SMARTboard lesson provides a mini lesson at the beginning and then fun ways to practice thinking and naming multi-meaning words. Students will explore the concept that many words have multiple meanings and the meaning of the words changes depending on the context in which they are used. Words used are relative to primary students. Multiple meaning words are initially suggested through pictures and objects and the lesson become increasingly more difficult as students are give two definitions and will need to name the word that fits both definitions. Colorful and engaging. Created for students in grades 1-3, but can also be used in Kindgergarten with support. Words include: fly, bat, nail, calf, bangs, jam, sub, wave,and more.
