The file is a template for making as many personalized nametags as you need for your class. You just replace the viper with your own image in that same location using the same size so it fits perfectly for popping up and replace the names with your own students' names. I used an x-acto knife to pop up the viper after lamination. I also used student numbers for classroom management of materials and transitions. These name tags can be used for multiple purposes. My students used them to store their whisper pipes, pens, pencils, wipe-off markers, and erasers. They also used them to complete daily activities using their wipe off markers (laminated name tags). You can add any wipe-off activities -- my examples showed the number line, a clock face, a centimeter and inch ruler, and a saying "I Am Responsible for My Day" that we would chant at the beginning of each school day. The name tags last all year -- they are very durable when you print them on card stock and laminate them. They are also adorned by our school mascot (The Viper) which was another way to build unity in our school.
