Multi-Step Equations Thanksgiving Bingo
This is a really fun game to practice multi-step equations (with variables on both sides) before the Thanksgiving holiday. It is a Power Point game in which turkey's really do move around the screen. You can either have students aim for a turkey with a koosh ball (if you have a Smart Board), or just have them come up and select a turkey from the computer.
When they hit a turkey, a multi-step equation appears. The students write down and solve this problem on their recording sheet (included). When you hit the "Answer" button on the slide, the answer will appear so they can check. They look for this answer on their bingo board. When you hit "Back", the turkey that was just hit turns into a turkey dinner :) There are 30 individualized boards included. They win if they get 5 in a row, column, or diagonal.
