Help your students practice mental math and become more familar with Number Sense and Operations with Christmas themed Math Riddle Task Cards.
In this activity students use a Hundreds Chart and hop around the board following a series of 4-5 directions to find a number.
This pack has 3 sets of differentiated cards:
Set 1 contains 10 cards that use addition and subtraction operation words only
Set 2 contains 10 cards that use all four operation words
Set 3 includes squared and cubed expononents as well as digits work.
Challenge students by using cards as Mental Math work, or differentiate and use a hundreds chart for students who need a visual organizer.
Cards are perfect for group/center work, as a five minute class filler, or an independent math activity.
Laminate for best results.
