RAFT activities are engaging ways to provide student-choice and differentiation. The following RAFT was created for a fourth grade math classroom when we were studying multi-step problem solving. Students choose a role, audience, format, and topic to complete a project. Time could be allowed for presentations and rubrics can be created based on what you're looking for from student work. We used this as a center activity independently, however, it could also be used as a partner or small group activity to fit your classroom needs!
