This resource is a great way for students to practice solving word problems which require multiple steps. (Most are 2 steps).
Skills/strategies that are covered in the word problems are:
-working backwards to solve
Students have 12 multi-step problems to solve. Each question has 2 possible choices for answers. The correct choice will give the student the correct coordinates to color in on the "graph" paper. Once all questions are completed, if done correctly, it will reveal the answer to the joke, "Where do math problems eat?" which is "At times tables"!
Students will be solving word problems all while not complaining, because this makes it much more fun. Who doesn't love that?
Perfect for sub plans, morning work, math centers, test prep, etc.
