How do you make your ESL classroom look different from a regular education room? Consider these multilingual classroom labels!
Each label takes up 1/4 of a page so they are nice and big, but not too obtrusive. There are 32 words for a total of 8 pages. Check out the preview of the first 4. They each feature the english word in big, bold black letters while the other languages are in a smaller font and in blue. Languages included are Chinese (simplified), Arabic, Russian and Spanish. To help aid meaning, I've included a picture. (If the word was too large, I faded the image and placed it in the background. These I starred below.)
32 words included are: door, window, garbage, closet, interactive board**, clock, projector, desk, chair, schedule, calendar, sharpener, library, computer, laptop, safe, paper, glue, pencils, erasers, recycling, flag, loudspeaker**, light switch, scissors, markers, highlighters, pens, crayons, stickers, notebook, book
*** UPDATE 10/16/16 ***
I added 8 more words: map, globe, whiteboard, printer, basket, book bag, ruler, tape

I've managed to befriend some native Arabic and Russian speakers. Yay! They polished off any errors in the previous version. Please update your own cards. I'm also looking for other entries you'd like to see added.
If you are fluent in any of the language I use and see a mistake, please feel free to send a correction! Also, I'm open to suggestions about other words to add to this set.
Note: Someone critiqued my choice of using 计算机 to translate the word "computer" in Chinese. I am aware of the 电脑 term, but will keep the original form since it is more formal.
