What you get in this product:

★ 16 posters that say "Peace" in 15 languages in Letter size format (15 pages)

★ A template for writing an acrostic poem about peace (1 page)

★ A Notes to the Teacher section with background information and suggestions for use (1 page)

More Info:

Each poster measures 8.5" x 11" inches. At the top is the word Peace in one of the languages. The color of the word matches one of the colors on the flag of that country (except for the U.S., which is in a different color just for contrast). Underneath is a colorful version of the peace symbol. At the bottom of the page, you will find the name of the language the word is written in and its country.

Countries whose languages are included in this Peace resource are:

* China

* Eritrea

* France

* Germany

* Greece

* India

* Israel

* Italy

* Japan

* Russia

* Spain

* Sweden

* Syria

* Turkey

* Ukraine

* United States

These countries were specifically selected because they were on the front lines of the refugee crisis in the Middle East and Europe in 2016 or because they have experienced civil war, war, or conflict either in the 20th century or currently. In March 2022, a poster for Ukraine was added due to the refugee crisis caused by the war in that country.

You can use these posters any time of the year. Why not now?!
