Active English Classrooms is proud to present an engaging group project suitable for English, History, or Civics classrooms. Students work in groups to research, examine and evaluate anti-war sentiment in fiction, non-fiction, visual arts, and music to determine which medium resonates most deeply with an audience. Students also must determine if anti-war sentiment serves society well, or creates unnecessary friction.
Unlike other group projects, students are evaluated on both individual and group efforts.
This project includes:
a detailed explanation and description;
a list of wars to avoid repetition;
comprehensive rubrics for each section;
scoring sheets for teachers
