Multimodality is a great asset for the digital and modern age. However, too often it is boiled down to Prezis and PowerPoints. This activity will expose students to more forms, have them analyze them critically, and determine their rhetorical purpose. First, students have a graphic organizer to help assess the affordances and constraints. Second, there is a March-Madness style bracket that allows students to decide which mode is best for their project. This digital download contains a two-paged student handout, teacher instructions, and an example answer key.
