⭐There are a variety of ways to use this resource:
1) Use as an individual activity. Provide response cards for the entire class. Display multiple choice question and have students work individually. Have entire class show their response card all at the same time. I love this method because I get immediate feedback on all my students! Depending on how the students respond, I know how to adjust my instruction.
→If all or most select the correct answer I know this is a skill in which they have good understanding. This means I can move on in the lesson with a quick intervention targeted at only the students that need it.
→If I see two specific answer choices being selected this usually means there is a misconception I need to address.
→If I see random responses this tells me the class as a whole needs a reteach on this skill. They are not understanding the concept being presented.
2) Use as a group activity and make a game of it. Provide groups of students with a set of response cards. Display multiple choice questions to the class and have students work in teams to solve the problem. Take turns having teams respond. Assign points for correct answer responses. In the event a team selects the incorrect answer allow other teams to steal and earn their points. Provide a reward for the team with the most points. Rewards can be very simple such as free homework pass, free choice seating, first to line up, bring a snack, etc.
3) Use in centers or with small groups. Great for any resource that is multiple choice formatted.
4) Large Group
5) Staff Development
