I am always thinking about new ways to engage my students and to encourage critical thinking and creativity in the process. The Thinking Tubs address the Multiple Intelligences in meaningful and fun ways...and they give students choice and some autonomy. This
increases student motivation, and it’s the perfect early finisher activity! It's also a wonderful way to differentiate by learning preferences!
Just print the circular labels, laminate, cut, and hot glue them to the top of tiny tubs from Dollar Tree. Cut the paper templates into squares, fold them up, and place them into the corresponding tubs. Put them all out at once in a large basket, or use a smaller basket (like in my example), and switch them out over time. A third option is printing the pages as choice boards and forgoing the tubs altogether. No matter how you approach it, you can't go wrong. I hope your students LOVE THEM!
