This game contains 36 cards related to multiple meaning words. This is a great activity if you are looking for an opportunity to engage your entire class! I also frequently use these cards with smaller intervention groups- I just give more cards to each student. It is a very engaging game!
The cards are written so that students have to truly listen carefully to determine when their card is being identified.
For example, one card asks, "Who has the word that makes sense in both of the following sentences?
Keep _____ of how much money you spend.
We ran around the _____ five times."
The correct answer is "I have track."
These cards always take a few extra minutes to get through the first time. I always time my students, and then let them go through them a second and possibly third time to try to beat their record!
An answer key is included for teacher use to follow along. A direction page is also provided.
