Multiple meaning words can be difficult for students. This set of practice questions will help them master the skill. The questions are provided in several ways. (see preview for an example of each question type)
1, Students read the dictionary entry and choose the definition that matches the way the word is used in the sentence.
2. Students read the dictionary entry and choose the sentence that matches one of the definitions.
3. Students choose the word whose meanings fit both sentences provided.
4. Students read a sentence and match which sentence has the word with the same meaning.
