Appointment Activity practices multiple step equations with variables on both sides and using the distributive property.
Draw in the numbers 12, 3, 6, and 9 on the circle above. Students make appointment with their peers at the four available time slots. Students will solve the problems around the room and show the work below. Students may start at any number. During work time, students work quietly. The teacher will calls out the appointment time, then the students will meet with their peers and discuss the problems they both completed. After your appointment is completed go back to work until your next appointment.
