A version of Bingo designed to reinforce multiples of 10 and the distributive property. Easy to differentiate and perfect for centers or fast-finisher!
6 beginner boards and 6 advanced boards
36 cards to draw
An answer sheet
White boards for students
Make double-sided copies of both versions on colored card-stock. Cut out the 30 playing cards to be drawn and then put the 30 pieces in a pile face-down or in a non-transparent container.
How to play:
Each player will choose a random grid. Players begin to draw cards in turn. Each player should read the multiplication problem for the group and the players find the product alone. Once found, players put a token on the correct square. The winner is the one who has covered 5 squares in a row.
To differentiate among struggling students, you may ask the player who drew to confirm the product with the group before passing cards to the next player.
To differentiate among more advanced students, you might give a limited time in which players have to find the correct product / box.
To add more luck and competition, use the Wild Card! This card grants the player the right to place a token where he/she wants OR to remove a token from another player's grid.
