Description

Get students moving and learning with these ONE STEP, DIFFERENTIATED task cards. Great reinforcement of multiplication of 2-digit x 1-digit problems and one-step story problems. Great for a game of SCOOT or scavenger hunt.

There are 24 different task cards included in this mixed set of word problems and regular multiplication problems.

ALL word problems are ONE-STEP problems. Easy differentiation: cards 1 – 4 have no regrouping, while cards 5 – 24 require regrouping.

Note: students must recognize that “a week” equals 7 days. Otherwise, the questions are very straightforward.

This resource is NOT EDITABLE BY COMPUTER. However, one page of blank, un-numbered task cards is included, allowing you to hand-write your own problems unique to your class and needs. Students love to design and illustrate their own task cards, too.

Task cards are a great way to prepare for assessments, early finishers, class warm-ups, absent student work, reinforcement for small groups and individual students, or as a class game.

These multiplication task cards can be used with traditional board games by requiring the students to correctly answer a task card in order to “earn” their turns. They can be printed and cut apart for the students to use as entry tickets or exit tickets, and quick formative assessments.
