Multiplication Scrapbook Activities
Times Tables - Number 2
These mustache-themed pages are full of engaging and effective ways for students to practice basic multiplication facts. Students will find answers to multiplication using skip counting, counting in groups, number grids, and many other exercises. These pages can be used in lapbooks, or just print up the pre-made sheets and have students cut, color, and glue the different parts onto pieces of colored construction paper. All pages black and white for kids to color, cut out and add to scrapbook.
I had my students do these at the beginning of the year while they were still trying to understand and memorize their times table facts, but it would also be a good review in the middle or end of the year. We focused on one number a week. I gave them all sets of colored construction paper that had been spiral-bound to make a little book, but you could even just staple the pages together if you want to make it even easier for yourself (or you can just do the pages individually and not even worry about making it into a book).
