Why not include a brain break in the activity? These worksheets allow students to practice their times-tables and their motor skills at once. As students navigate the "Math Maze" by using a hole punch to indicate the correct answers, they cut their way through their work with intermittent cutting sessions. Students LOVE IT!!
There are worksheets for numbers 1-12 and a blank template in case you would like to build your own. Students can either cut the whole maze at once, then punch their answers or (my favorite) punch their answers until the punch can't reach, stop and cut the maze until it reaches, then punch some more. Once they reach the bullseye of the worksheet, they earn a ticket!! They write their name on the back and all tickets are entered into a drawing and kept to indicate which worksheet has been completed. Each ticket area in the center of the worksheet has the number of focus next to the ticket for easy reference.
