Students can practice setting up the algorithm and solving it 4 problems at a time on a total of 5 workmats under dry erase sheets.

This is a center that accompanies the Algorithm Center. It shows how to solve a two-digit by one digit multiplication fact by using repeated addition. I think this is important to still show the concept behind multiplying larger numbers and as a way fro students to check their own answers after trying to solve with the algorithm.

This center is also out and accompanies the Algorithm and Repeated Addition Stations well. It uses the area model for two-digit by one digit numbers, which is basically like breaking the two digit number into expanded form, then adding both numbers to the one-digit. This also helps students see what is happening behind the algorithm.
