Here's a fun way to practice multiplication arrays during the holidays!
Students play the game like a memory game where all cards are turned over. Two cards are turned up and if there is a match, the students take another turn. If not, it's the next players turn. Players continue in this way until all cards have been matched. A match is when the array card is matched with either the correct multiplication sentence card or the repeated addition card.
There are 32 cards in all; 16 matches. Each array is made with common holiday pictures.
An answer key is included as well as several ideas for extending the activity.
