Product Description
Multiplication Bingo: Multiplication Fact Practice, Multiplication Fact Families Game:

This is my favorite Bingo game because of the clever way it incorporates fact families and patterns. It makes other multiplication Bingo games feel boring, lacking educational value.

52 randomized Bingo cards have multiplication problems on them, generated from fact families 3 through 12. Each number 3 through 12 is used one time, either as a multiplier (the first number) or a multiplicand (the second number) and is used in the same position for its entire row or column. This way, students are not blindly scouring a Bingo board to find a product of a given problem (a skill much more efficiently practiced using flash cards); rather, they apply their knowledge of fact families in a game that facilitates learning. For example, when they hear the Bingo number "21" called, they would search their rows or columns for the families of '3's or '7's and find the problem statement where those rows and columns intersect.

Make students calculate on the fly (which reinforces knowledge of fact families), or let them spend some time calculating before calling numbers: it works either way.

Included in this PDF file are: 52 unique Bingo boards, 1 sheet containing all possible solutions that can be cut and drawn randomly from a hat, and 1 sheet of 10-games' worth of pre-randomized numbers which can save time over drawing them from a hat.

Bingo cards are printed four to a page to save trees and printing budgets, and each square is .75 inches wide and .75 inches tall: plenty of size for marker pieces.

If you're looking for this game with a free space in the middle of the board, it's right here: Multiplication Bingo Emphasizing Fact Families (with Free Space).

If you still want to play the simple, boring version of Multiplication Bingo, you can find it here: Multiplication Bingo (Simple).

For students who have not yet mastered their multiplication facts, check out this handy Times Table Chart and/or this Multiplication Facts Sheet.
