Race to the Finish Multiplication Board Game
This includes the game board, 75 playing cards with multiplication problems and directions.
This game allows students to practice multiplication facts for numbers 1-12 by solving for the missing factor.
1. Set up the game: place all players’ playing pieces on the start space and all shuffled playing cards in a stack face down.
2. The first player chooses the top card from the stack and solves the multiplication problem out loud. The other players confirm if the problem is solved correctly or incorrectly. If the player solved the problem correctly, he/she will move his/her playing piece the number of spaces of the missing factor (example: 5x_=10. The player moves 2 spaces). If the player solved the problem incorrectly, he/she does not move his/her playing piece any spaces and the turn is over.
3. The remaining players continue taking turns clockwise.
4. The end of the game: the first player to reach the finish space is the winner.
