Teaching or Reviewing Multiplication? I love using these multiplication centers to engage my students and allow them to practice a difficult and critical skill. This set of multiplication centers contains three centers at various levels of multiplication difficulty.
The three centers included are:
Math Races are an extremely engaging math center that can be used in three different ways; whole group, small group, and individually. My students beg for math races. Plus, they encourage speed, accuracy, and self-improvement.
Mystery Squares require students to complete twelve multiplication problems in order to assemble a perfect square. This is a challenging, yet engaging puzzle for students to complete in small groups or independently.
Pop! Boom! Bam!
Pop! Boom! Bam! is a superhero themed center that my students LOVE. Students draw a card from a bag or basket and solve. Students take turns with a partner or small group. If a student draws a Pop, Boom, or Bam card, they must return ALL of their cards to the bag. The first one to collect ten cards, wins! You can adjust the number of cards to win based on your class size, time allotment, or student groupings.
These centers will help your students practice the following skills:
*Multiplying 3-Digit by 1-Digit Factors
*Multiplying 4-Digit by 1-Digit Factors
*Multiplying 2-Digit by 2-Digit Factors
*Multiplying 3-Digit by 2-Digit Factors
