Combine skill practice with strategy in this fun partner game! Students roll dice to get a total of four (or five) digits, which they then must arrange into two factors that will yield the highest possible product.
Each "duel" asks students to complete three rounds--two rounds of 2 digits times 2 digits and then a "challenge round" of 3 digits times 2 digits. The student winning 2 out of 3 rounds is the champion! Then--students can find a new partner to challenge to a duel!
Perfect for workshop time, extra practice, or a fun independent challenge for students who "get it" while you reteach a small group.
