If you are looking for some fun ways for students to reinforce their multiplication and division, these five games will support learning math facts. Students will be engaged in fun ways to use basic multiplication facts using numbers 1 to 10. In Product Power, students are encouraged to create their own game boards by generating products and ordering them. The first person to fill in his or her game board is the winner. Three in a Row Multiplication is a game where students need to cross off three products in a row to win. Let's Play Times is played when students add their choice of products to a game board. The game is played for a straight line to declare a winner. Each game has a multiplication table for reinforcement and instructions included.
The division games pack includes two games. Triple Operations is designed to reinforce division skills as well as multiplication and addition facts. Players will multiply and then divide the numbers generated to obtain an answer. Final answers are added to find the greatest sum. The person with the greatest sum is declared the winner. Instructions, a multiplication table and a scorecard is included. Quotient Power is a game that works with multiplication facts and then dividing the products in half. Decimal numbers may be generated when dividing. Students are encouraged to round the decimal to the nearest hundredth.
These are great activities for home school connections and for combined grade classrooms. To assist with differentiation, you may wish to lower the products generated depending on the needs of your classroom.
