Product Description
I created this certificate to motivate and encourage students to work towards fluency and automaticity with their multiplication facts. We work on the facts starting the first week of school and as students feel ready, we check that fluency! If they know their facts "in a snap," they get to take the certificate home after I have signed and dated it with great flourish.

I make it a big deal because I know math will be much easier for them down the road if these facts are automatic.

See the sample; I include multiplication instruction tips along with the certificate of mastery.

Every year my 4th grade students meet the goal of all students knowing their facts by Thanksgiving break. Make it fun. Tie it to real world examples of when you had to multiply quickly. Watch your students grow. And celebrate with this certificate!
