Let's Get To Master, Way Faster! is packed full of practice to help students master their multiplication facts. It was designed for all learners, especially those that seem to struggle with details and learning their facts.
Whereas some material out there jumps straight into testing of recall of facts, this has a natural progression through each factor to get students to mastery faster. Going one factor at a time, it provides students exposure to the products and has matching, which allows students to recognize the products and get more comfortable with the facts. It has rectangular arrays for visual learners, and also includes practice with real-world word problems. At points, it asks students to look for patterns within the times tables and practices making plausible constructs. In order to prepare students for the years ahead, this workbook also includes some pre-algebraic thinking skills. Opposite of drills, its varied format and chance for student choice helps to keep students motivated and mindful while learning their facts.
Per the standards, the packet really focuses on facts through nine but it includes practice through times twelve for flexibility. Factors have two digital pages on them, which can be printed front and back, and there are reviews along the way. It can be completed one factor at a time, or it can be divided into a few mini-packets. The mini-packets go in order in terms of familiarity of facts: beginning, intermediate, mastery, and then an optional challenge. It is great as homework or independent work during the school day. Before fact evaluations, the pages make excellent test prep work.
There are twenty-eight pages of purposeful practice for your students, and answer keys for every page for you. It is intended for educational purposes and in one classroom.
As I know how important it is for every student to feel easement during math by knowing their facts, please ask me any questions you have and I look forward to hearing your reviews.
