These posters, foldable, and flashcards were designed to help teachers teach 9 strategies to represent Multiplication Facts.
There are two sets of posters and flashcards. One set has a bright rainbow border like the cover page shows. The other set has a plain black and white squiggle border (as seen in the thumbnail view.)
The strategies that are included are:
Equal Sized Groups
Equal Jumps on a Number Line
These are based on the TEKS, but can be used at any grade level that students need a visual of the facts:
2(6)(A) The student is expected to model, create, and describe contextual multiplication
situations in which equivalent sets of concrete objects are joined.
3(4)(E) The student is expected to represent multiplication facts by using a variety of approaches such as repeated addition, equal-sized groups, arrays, area models, equal jumps on a number line, and skip counting.
3(4)(F) The student is expected to recall facts to multiply up to 10 by 10 with automaticity and recall the corresponding division facts
