Product Description
Are you looking for a way to ★ MOTIVATE ★ your students to memorize the multiplication facts? If so, use these karate belt brag tags that you students will WANT to learn the facts in order to earn each level!

Listen to what these happy teachers are saying about using these Assessments and Karate Belt Brag Tags: ★

• ”LOVE LOVE LOVE! So easy to implement and very effective! I had students pushing themselves to earn their belts. The year before I had nothing to keep them motivated so this was great to use this year!” - Tara

• Super fun way to motivate students to learn their multiplication facts. –Becky

• ”The Karate theme is very motivating for the students.” –Shannon

“The best motivator for students to learn their multiplication facts! My students absolutely loved getting their brag tag belts!” - Marissa

Since we know all students do not learn at the same rate, I suggest differentiating the use of this tool. Use the Teacher Data Record to track each student and quickly differentiate the assessments by giving each student the strategy they are still working on.

Each week you will have the needed data to differentiate your instruction. Assign games and activities to students based on their needs. You can even differentiate homework for each child.

I have also included a Student Data Record so students can track their own mastery of the strategies. This is an important activity to encourage your students to take responsibility for their own learning.
At the bottom of each assessment there is a place for student goal setting, students choose 3 facts to practice on their own.
