This sorting cards activity will give your students the opportunity to determine practice their understanding of multiplication along with fluency.
There are five different sets of cards to sort with 20 cards in each set totaling 100 cards!
1) Multiplication problem
2) Array of multiplication problem
3) Answer to multiplication problem
4) Area model of multiplication problem
5) Grouping model of multiplication problem.
You may copy all 5 sorts or just 2-3. Use different sorts to differentiate. All 20 cars can be used in a sort, or break them up into packets with 4-5 cards per sort.
Printing the five multiplication sorts on different colored paper helps students identify which card is left to add to a group.
Use for all students, stations or as a center for early finishers.
