This file is the complete set of 1-10 basic multiplication facts games. Each game is a single sheet that focuses on a specific factor, includes directions, and uses simple objects found in the classroom or at home. Each game is also available in both color and black&white.
These games address the Common Core State Standards for Grade Three Math. The file is aligned to the following standard:
Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.
I noticed that while my third graders understood the concept of multiplication, we rarely had the time needed in our packed school day to practice fluency. Solution: I started using these for weekly homework and lunchtime games. Included, you'll also find a homework tracking sheet. It made a huge difference! I hope they help in your classroom, as well!
